Wednesday’s Spotlight: Black (The Circle)
This is NOT the best time for me to start a GREAT new book. I have 
deadlines. I have shopping. I have a full time job! : )
So what am I saying? I’m saying I just discovered Ted Dekker, and his books are fabulous. I was perusing around on my Kindle, and there was his trilogy (yikes, yes I said trilogy) for such a great price, I couldn’t pass it up. So I was going to SAMPLE it, but I pushed BUY instead. This has happened more than once with me, and you can Un-BUY, but why would I do that? I figured I was going to like it anyway. I just had no idea how much I was going to like it.
Black is marvelous. I realize this isn’t his latest, but it’s a good place to start if you’re new to Dekker. It’s a little bit fantasy, a litlle bit contempoary suspense, and surprisingly a little bit of humor and romance. I want to chunk everything I’m supposed to do and just READ. Luckily for me, the holidays are coming up, and I just ordered his newest from Amazon … the paper version. It’ll be my reward when I meet those deadlines.
