Give-a-way #5, A Promise for Miriam

I am so proud to tell you that A Promise for Miriam hit the top 10 fiction list for Christian Retailing. THANK YOU! Did you hear me shout that as I was dancing a jig? : ) You all are awesome. I do my best to write stories about God’s grace, but you all put the word out to friends and family, and I thank you from the center of my heart.

Now on to our final week of celebration for the launch of A Promise for Miriam. I THINK I saved the best for last.  This week I’m giving away a matted photo of an Amish schoolhouse taken by Bill Coleman. The winner will be able to choose the schoolhouse photo they’d like to receive from this page. I will purchase the 11×14 photo and have it shipped to you. This winner will also receive an autographed copy of my book.

Since this is our grand finale, I’m going to leave the contest open for 7 days. I’ll choose a winner next Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m. central time.

This month of contests has been fun. Whether you’ve won an item or not, I hope you’ve enjoyed the posts, and I do hope you’ll pick up a copy of A Promise for Miriam.

To enter, COMMENT with your name once (INCLUDE your email address) to show me you are interested.

For a second entry, you can either SHARE this blog or you can leave a review at  CBD,  B&N, and Amazon, if you’ve already read Miriam. Comment AGAIN if you have REVIEWED or SHARED with someone in your email box or on your Facebook page or via Twitter. (Each person can have 2 entries! In your second entry, again put your name, email and what you did to earn a second entry.)

We’ll allow this contest to go until TUESDAY evening. Please do tell your friends, as I’d like to see our largest number of folks participating yet.

    I just finished A Promise for Miriam and I promise you….you will love, love this book. It is a wonderful, sweet, sometimes comical story that will leave you with a wonderful feeling of love and contentment.

    The photo is beautiful! And if I win the book I will donate it to our local library. They always promote books I donate to capture the interest….which makes ppl want more of the authors books. So donating is a good thing!

    I just finished reading A Promise for Miriam and I promise you…..you will love, love this story. It is a wonderful sweet story that will leave you with a special feeling of love and contentment.
    The photo is beautiful…and if I win the book it will go to our local library which when I donate books they will promote the book on a special table.
    Which in return will have ppl asking for more of the authours books.

    I liked readIng the typical school schedule and seeing how different it is from what we do in public schools. However, I am also curious about the lack of time for the teacher as well. I guess she would supervise them outside and at lunch so when does she complete her other duties that are required of her? It was just something that came to mind as I looked at that. Thanks for allowing us the chance to view the culture within our own country that fascinates me in a respected way. I have thoroughly enjoyed Simple Amish Christmas and Falling to Pieces and am currently reading A Perfect Square. Now I look forward to reading about the community on a different angle. I would have never thought I would have read and enjoyed a mystery but it has opened my eyes to a new field of reading. Can’t wait to read Miriam.

      I will be reading my 1st Amish mystery which is Plain Secrets by Kit Wilkenson. Never read any by him yet. I wondered about the teachers and the time to do what they need to. Love reading Amish stories. And shopping in their stores too. Patti in VA
