A Time to Love

This Wednesday I have the pleasure of blogging about my friend, Barbara Cameron’s book. Barbara’s book actually has appeared on Amazon a bit earlier than expected, so if you need a fall read . . . you’re in luck!

I’ve ordered my copy, and Amazon notified me just yesterday that it’s on the way. I’m excited. When I first began writing Amish stories (almost a year ago now), I depended on FRIENDS to help me when I had questions. Amy Clipston and Barbara were two of the people who didn’t mind answering questions from a newby.

Amy and Barbara are also two of the authors I read, along with Cindy Woodsmall. Barbara blogs over at Amish Hearts, and you can find the link to her webpage there.

This sounds like a lovely book. Very contemporary while still focusing on the Amish lifestyle. I’m very much looking forward to reading it, and if the cover is any indication, I know I will enjoy it.

    Hi Vannetta!

Thank you for the mention of my book and the AmishHearts.com website! And you’re welcome for the tiny amount of help I could give you on the Amish.

Looking forward to your book and to meeting you at ACFW in Sept.!

Barbara, you’re so welcome. I’ve looked forward to A TIME TO LOVE for several months now, and yes – I can’t wait for Indianapolis. : )

I myself can not wait to read this book. I loved both of the novella’s Barbara wrote. I’ve been waiting quite some time! Now I must go look at the store!!

Suzanna, I’m sure it’s worth a little shopping trip to pick up Barbara’s book. : )- Happy reading!

I’m also looking forward to reading this book, it looks like a nice “twist” on the Amish genre with an outsider entering the community to recuperate. I didn’t realise it was being released so soon – I’ll have to get working on my review copy!

I also recently discovered the “Amish Hearts” website and love it! Very informative and lots of good recipes 🙂

Hi Rachel. I believe Barbara’s book released a few weeks early. : ) As far as Amish Hearts, I’d forgotten about the recipes – an added bonus!
